Cookie Policy

Last Updated: June 28, 2026

Tramansys ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "the Operator") uses cookies and similar local storage technologies to provide a secure, stable, and functional software environment. This policy outlines exactly what technologies we use and why.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by your web browser when you visit a platform. They allow web applications to remember your state, maintain your active login status, and store minor interface preferences.

2. Strictly Necessary Cookies (Functional Only)

Because Tramansys is an internal corporate utility and data matrix tracker, we only use strictly necessary cookies. These are functional tokens required for our application layer to execute basic tasks. You cannot opt out of these cookies if you wish to use the platform.

Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the EU ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies do not require prior user consent because they are essential to deliver the service you have explicitly requested.

We use these necessary session cookies to:

  • Maintain Authentication: Keeping you securely logged into your workspace as you navigate between dashboards, user management panels, and certification grids without forcing you to retype your password on every page click.
  • Enforce Login Timers: Managing your automated session timeouts and inactivity countdown counters to protect unattended screens from unauthorised data access.
  • Prevent Security Exploits: Storing cross-site request forgery (CSRF) tokens to block malicious cross-origin scripts from interacting with our database mutations.

3. Regional Consent Models

Depending on the geographic region from which you access the Platform, our script execution and cookie consent framework adapts dynamically to comply with local regulations:

  • UK & EU Consent Model (Strict Opt-In): For visitors and users located in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area (EEA), the Platform operates on a strict opt-in consent model under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive. No non-essential scripts, including optimisation tools, performance monitoring metrics, or payment tracking frames, will initialise or write to local storage until you explicitly consent by clicking "Accept All" on our un-checked, balanced consent banner.
  • US Consent Model (Opt-Out): For visitors and users located in the United States, the Platform utilises an opt-out framework. Strictly necessary system scripts, optimisation routines, and performance telemetry will initialise automatically upon loading to ensure a seamless UI/UX. However, US users retain the right to manage their cookie preferences or opt-out of all non-essential script tracking at any time by clicking the dedicated "Do Not Sell/Share My Info" settings link located in our platform footer.

4. No Marketing or Third-Party Tracking Cookies

We believe in absolute data privacy. Tramansys does not run any advertising, marketing, profiling, behavioural targeting, or persistent cross-site tracking cookies. We do not sell your navigation habits to data brokers or use cookies to show you targeted ads on other platforms.

To monitor platform performance, database latencies, and system exceptions, we execute strictly operational, server-side telemetry logging (recording metrics like onboarding processing durations and query execution speeds). This tracking does not use any browser cookies or tracking identifiers, contains no user-identifying data, and is conducted entirely on our backend database layer, remaining exempt from cookie consent requirements.

5. Local Browser Storage

In addition to standard cookies, our database and authentication framework (powered by Supabase) utilises your browser's Local Storage (localStorage) to securely hold your encrypted access and refresh tokens. This technology is strictly functional and ensures your application instance can communicate securely with our cloud database nodes.

6. Managing Your Browser Settings

While our cookies are strictly operational, you can choose to block or delete cookies entirely through your personal web browser's built-in settings panel (usually found under Privacy or Security configurations). Please note that if you disable all cookies completely, the platform’s login infrastructure will break, and you will be unable to access or manage your corporate compliance workspaces.

7. Contact Us

If you have any operational questions regarding our strict functional cookie policy, please contact us directly through our support links or reach out to us at [email protected].
